The first month of 2022 brought a great wave of liquidations among Hungarian companies
As in previous years, in January 2022, entrepreneurs decided en masse to close their companies, and in the first month of the year 1762 liquidation procedures were published. It is likely that the slow decline in the number of companies will continue throughout the first half of 2022, as the number of other start-up termination procedures is also at a high level. In January, 585 companies were liquidated and 2,542 companies were subject to forced cancellation proceedings, which are expected to run out in the coming months.
