Unlawful entry in the Tokaj-case
The European Commission's infringement procedure caused the Hungarian-Slovak wine struggle – states Tabajdi Csaba EU representative, who call on the European Commission to clarify the offending state.
The European Commission has violated the EU law in the past weeks. The community introduces a new wine regulation, labelling the quality of the wine. Introduces two categories of protection for geographical indications, protected designation of origin (PDO) and protected geographical indication (PGI). And EU Commission is guilty here, when accepted the Slovak request and in case of the "Tokaj" signal, accepted both notations – reports szabadfold.hu.
