Consumer sentiment improved in the United States in June
Data released on Friday show that the consumer sentiment index rose 85.5 points from 82.9 points in May. Analysts expected stronger data of 86.5 points.
Among the sub-indices, the indicator of consumer expectations for the next six months improved from 78.8 points to 83.5 points, while the value of the sub-indicator reflecting the current situation decreased from 89.4 points to 88.6 points. (MTI)
