The IMF improved this year’s and next year’s Hungarian GDP growth forecast
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) in its spring global economic forecast improved this year’s and next year’s Hungarian GDP growth forecast.
The Hungarian economy may grow by 3.6 percent this year and by 2.7 percent next year, according to the World Economic Outlook, published on the IMF website, on 4 April, 2019. Compared to the European regional economic forecast published in November, Hungary’s domestic product (GDP) growth rate was improved by 0.3 percentage points this year and by 0.1 percentage point next year.
