The European Commission has improved its GDP growth forecast for this year and for the next year
The European Commission has improved the Hungarian economy’s growth forecast for this year and for the next year – in its autumn prognosis published by the European Commission.
The analysts of the Committee’s Economic and Financial Directorate-General (ECFIN) improved the growth rate of Hungary’s domestic product (GDP) this year by 0.3 percentage points to 4.3 percent, and next year’s by 0.2 percentage points to 3.4 percent, compared to the spring economic forecast. In 2020, the Hungarian economy is expected to expand by 2.6 percent. (MTI)
