Denmark’s Dagrofa Introduces Store Game To Train Spar Employees
Danish retail group Dagrofa has announced that it has introduced a digital store game for training employees in 51 Spar outlets.
The company believes that gamification is a more effective way to train employees compared with traditional presentations and manuals.
The points-based game makes the learning process more competitive and motivates employees to play even outside of working hours.
The store game, which has been implemented by retailers internationally, has helped in increasing sales by up to 4%, the company said.
Dagrofa plans to roll out the game in more than 300 Spar and Min grocery stores in Denmark with the aim to train more than 3,000 employees.
