The preparations can still only be placed in the air, but in heavily infected areas they can be used in a higher quantity of 12 kg/hectare. The authority amended the emergency permits of Pocok Tox MAX and Rodent Stop rodenticides with effect from October 30. The basic licenses of the preparations allowed the treatment in arable and horticultural crops, grasslands, and ruderalia at a dose of 6-10g/pass, up to now a maximum of 10kg/ha. The amended permit ensures the use of both agents in heavily infected areas at a dose of 6g/pass and a maximum of 12kg/ha. The higher dose can be used in areas where the degree of vole infestation reaches or exceeds 20 inhabited passages/100 m2.
Other provisions of emergency permits have not changed
The preparations can be used throughout the country, but still only when distributed by flight management. The treatment can only be done under the supervision of a herbalist. The number of occupied flights must be assessed in advance on the board, and then the number of occupied flights, as well as information about the area and the planned treatment, must be recorded on the appropriate data sheet. The data sheet filled out by the herbalist is approved by the regionally competent county government office, which is also a prerequisite for the purchase of the preparations. Treatments can only be carried out in areas approved by the competent food chain supervisory body.
