A Japanese company buys Dreher
The Japanese Asahi Group buys five European beer brands – Reuters wrote citing Japanese sources. The nearly 8 billion Usd worth purchase was announced by the company today – portfolio.hu wrote.
The Asahi Group buys five European beer brands from the Anheuser-Busch. The Czech Pilsner Urquell, the Polish Tyskie and the Hungarian Dreher are the subjects of tghe acquisition that was announced today.
The 900 billion yen, or 7.8 billion USD acquisition will be the largest acquisition in the history of Asahi. It is the largest acquisition among the Japanese beer manufacturers, since the Suntory Holding bought a company called Beam for 14 billion USD. (portfolio.hu)
