From January, a serious decline in the turnover of catering establishments is expected
70 percent of the population tries to save on food, gas and electricity consumption. 60 percent of the respondents gave up on restaurants, and 55 percent gave up on some of the entertainment, according to recent research by Groupama. László Kovács, the president of the Industry Association of Hungarian Restaurateurs, expects a serious decline in traffic from the beginning of next year. The specialist’s opinion is that more than 50 percent of the restaurants may close at the beginning of 2023.
