Fava beans contribute to muscle building
Fava bean peptides perform better than traditional animal-derived proteins – specifically milk protein – in muscle conditioning, claims a new study, which has been published recently in The Journal of Nutrition. In a clinical trial, Irish biotechnology company Nuritas and Maastricht University examined the effectiveness of the company’s plant-based bioactive peptide solution, PeptiStrong.
