On 5 March 2024 the Hungarian Confectioners Guild organised the Pataki János Memorial Competition for students and adults for the fifth time, in the categories of cake decoration, artistry and sugar flower.

The competition took place at the SIRHA Budapest 2024 trade fair, in HUNGEXPO’s Pavilion G. A record number of entries were sent in and the quality of the works was so high that the jury awarded a record 46 medals to the competitors in the adult and student categories, with 21 competitors receiving special prizes. //
