It was another sustainability month at Borsodi
At Borsodi Brewery, September is traditionally about sustainability, so the Our Imprint sustainability month was once again organized and the company’s 2023 sustainability report was also published.
In 2024, the Borsodi Brewery once again organized the now traditional Our Imprint month.
“Our sustainability strategy is based on two pillars – protecting people and our planet. We have been presenting the steps we have taken for the sake of our narrower and wider environment in September for years, giving our colleagues the opportunity to get to know and identify with our commitment to sustainable operation and our goals, which I believe is also a fundamental condition for business success.”
– said Ágnes Besze, director of legal and corporate relations at the Borsodi Brewery.
One of the central elements of the company’s sustainability strategy is the well-being and health of people. In this spirit, a health day was organized on September 13 in Bőcsön and on September 20 in Budapest. At the events, participants were able to take part in various health screenings organized by Aktív Magyarország. As part of Molson Coors’ global “green week” program, Borsodis colleagues organized a community cleanup in Bőcsön, where 70 colleagues took an active role in keeping their surroundings clean. In addition, they drew attention to the importance of water management in an online presentation. Social responsibility and the promotion of responsible alcohol consumption are an integral part of Borsodi Sörgyár’s sustainability efforts. In the spirit of this, the video related to domestic festivals was also made, which draws attention to the importance of responsible alcohol consumption.
