The guild’s gala dinner in 2018
There were high spirits at this year’s gala dinner of the Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI).
The trade remembered László Jakabffy, who passed away last year. Executive chef Attila Bicsár supervised the preparation of the 7-course dinner. There were 150 guests, the hosts were MVI president László Kovács and Lajos Bíró. In 2018 the Gundel Károly Award went to Tibor Rosenstein, the owner of Rosenstein Restaurant in Budapest.
