An industrial area and an agricultural logistics center is under construction in Bátaszék with the 800 million forints support of the Regional Development and Municipal Development Operational Program – the Mayor of Bátaszék, Tolna County told MTI.
Bozsolik Róbert (Independent) said that in the 2000 square meter agricultural logistics center cold storage, packing plant, warehouse and offices will be built. Around the settlement that has 6200 inhabitants, there are mainly apricot and peach plantations; According to the project description, the current 150-200 hectares of fruit culture can grow to 300-400 hectares in the next years.
