The Christmas shopping fever has started
While in October only one in ten Hungarians hits the stores for Christmas presents, in November, the third of the population starts to looking for Christmas presents. In Budapset every fourth customer obtains its presents online. The national level is 18 percent.
According to the representative survey of REGIO JÁTÉK, the amount allocated for this year’s Christmas is an average of around 16,000 HUF. People under 30 and the lower educated people plan much modest celebration with spendings roughly around 14,000 HUF. The graduates plann to spend 20,000 HUF for Christmas gifts, while almost quarter of them (22 percent) will spend more than 30,000 HUF.
