IMF: The global economy’s growth prospects have deteriorated this year
According to the International Monetary Fund, the outlook for the global economy in 2022 has deteriorated significantly since the organization’s previous January forecast. According to the IMF’s latest forecast released on Tuesday, the global economy will grow 3.6 percent this year from 4.4 percent expected in January, with next year’s GDP growth figure cut from 3.8 percent to 3.6 percent.
