Role of e-commerce to strengthen in grocery retail this year
According to the experts of smart logistics service provider DODO, the proportion of online FMCG orders with home delivery will continue to grow this year.
As the popularity of online grocery shopping is on the rise, the pressure is increasing on retail chains, because customers demand professionalism and speed. Data from the company reveals that the number of such deliveries doubled last year: DODO couriers completed almost 700,000 food and hot meal deliveries in 2022. In the majority of cases the level of customer satisfaction depended not on hours, but minutes. Besides large companies, more and more SMEs are also starting to realise that they can cut costs and increase their efficiency by using third party service providers for delivering. //
