This year, Generali’s EnterPRIZE program already supports sustainable businesses with HUF 7 million
The joint 2023 survey of the Generali Group and the Italian SDA Bocconi (in which more than 1,000 European businesses were asked about their efforts in the field of sustainability) revealed that every year more and more Hungarian SMEs have an implemented sustainability strategy or are planning to introduce one. In 2023, this figure has already reached 38%, which means an increase of 4% compared to the previous year.
It can be said that there is no problem with commitment at the European level, but several factors, including the lack of funding, make it difficult to achieve these goals on the continent, including in Hungary. In order to facilitate the implementation of sustainability plans, the Generali Group launched its international enterprise development and attitude-shaping program called EnterPRIZE in 2021, to which Generali Biztosító also joined. With the EnterPRIZE application, the Generali Group aims to provide the necessary professional support in Hungary – and internationally – as more and more businesses across Europe are taking steps to realize their sustainability ambitions.
In the category of environmental protection, it is worth applying for the tender for SMEs that consider environmental protection to be of the utmost importance in their operations, sustainability is a primary goal in their operations, and their activities have a clear positive impact on the environment – be it recycling, education, reducing the emission of harmful substances, or even about the use of renewable energy sources.
