The European Commission expects a 3.5 percent growth for Hungary this year and a 3.2 percent growth for the next year. The European Commission published its winter economic forecast for both the EU as a whole and for the individual member states on Monday.
The fresh assessment of the Economic and Financial Affairs Directorate (ECFIN) of the European Commission recalls that the Hungarian gross domestic product (GDP) last year, “only” grew by 1.9 percent, while the growth in 2015 was 3.1, and in 2014 was 4 percent. (MTI, Bajnok Artúr)
