This year, student workers can expect a gross hourly wage of 1,500-2,500
Only a few more weeks and the summer vacation is here, which for thousands of students would mean cloudless freedom and study-free weekdays. But there are people who want to top up their bank account in addition to resting. We took a look at the options available to students who want to work this summer.
Busy weekdays are mostly typical for adults, as students our primary goal is learning, development and, of course, rest. However, many times as students we also want to try ourselves in the world of work in order to gain experience and, of course, some income, since students also have goals: even a new phone, a fashionable bike or even a vacation abroad with friends. Study breaks are the most suitable for such short-term or seasonal employment, and among these, the best opportunities are primarily offered during the longer, continuous summer vacation.
“Young people are primarily motivated by collecting money, but responsible parents also realize that casual work also helps in raising children’s financial awareness. It is very important to make people aware that the first work-related experience will be extremely decisive in the future of the young person’s life, therefore it is extremely important that it be a positive experience and build the motivation of the young, future workforce. Money should not be the only incentive to work, it is at least as important to live our inherent abilities, the desire to create and the creation of value as a possible motivation.”
– revealed Attila Katkics, HR specialist.
