Looking ahead, the group expects the market’s value to grow to USD 247.9bn by 2032, representing an annual growth rate of 2.1% percent between 2024 and 2032. As regards end use, the food and beverage industry is the biggest corrugated board buyer, but this material is also used in large quantities in packaging by the distributors of electronics, glassware, chemicals, and household equipment and cosmetics products. With the rise of e-commerce, there is a growing demand for corrugated packaging materials. “Thanks to technological development and new manufacturing processes, recycled corrugated board has the strength, durability and reliability required for packaging a variety of products, while also being perfectly compliant with sustainability considerations”, added Zsolt Miklós, managing director of Rondo Hullámkartongyártó Kft. //
