The GHP Working Group continued work in 2017-2018 and collected the recent experiences and changes in legislation to publish the 2nd, revised edition of the Good Hygiene Practice (GHP) Guide. In the GHP Working Group we can find the representatives of the HoReCa sector and public sector catering. With the leadership of head of department Anna Zoltai, the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) coordinates the work of the group.
One of the new chapters in the guide deals with the issue of the so-called self-review: last year the Ministry of Agriculture published decree 28/2017. (V. 30.) on the self-review systems to be operated by food industry enterprises. This system was set up to make sure that food businesses meet the quality, food safety, identification, tracking and marking requirements for food products. In Appendix VIII of the guide there is even a self-review plan template for enterprises. The GHP Guide can be read at and downloaded for free from http://portal.nebih.gov.hu/-/vendeglatas-ghp. //
