The rise in hygiene standards and the growing demand for sustainability became a general phenomenon, while the market showed growth in value but stagnated in volume. The HoReCa segment strengthened in line with the upturn in tourism, while regulatory compliance and cost control became the primary drivers for mass catering and institutional partners.

In 2025, domestic and EU regulations geared professional hygiene compliance to an entirely new level
A complex approach
Essity Hungary Kft. concentrated on system-level solutions on the professional hygiene market that support both regulatory compliance and sustainable operation. The Tork portfolio featured dispensing systems optimised for high-traffic areas, products designed to increase capacity and streamline logistics, and tools aimed at reducing consumption.

“Tork has created the Tork Focus4 sustainability programme, which comprehensively presents the environmental benefits of our products, including carbon emissions during use”,
informs commercial director Géza Nagy.
Tork’s innovations include the PeakServe automatic hand towel dispenser designed for busy washrooms, compressed, high-capacity Xpress hand towels, and the Reflex system, which significantly reduces consumption by dispensing one sheet at a time. The company sees the SIRHA trade fair as a unique opportunity to showcase its latest innovations.

Hagleitner Hygiene
Magyarország
In 2025 Hagleitner Hygiene Magyarország Kft. strengthened its positions in those areas of the professional hygiene market where regulatory compliance, operational safety and cost efficiency together determine decisions. The company realised stable growth particularly in the areas of system solutions and dosing technology.
“In recent years hydrogen peroxide based disinfection has been almost exclusively the industry standard in professional laundries. At the same time, stricter EU regulations on hazardous substances have made the transport and storage of hydrogen peroxide much more difficult due to its hazard classification. Hagleitner has responded to this challenge with an innovative solution: we use food-grade raw materials, including triacetin, which are shipped as non-hazardous goods”,
explains country manager Márk Varga.
Their integral ROBOT GO solution will play a main role at the 2026 SIRHA trade fair.
