Companies would reduce their utility bills with solar panels, but it will not be easy
From now on, for every newly installed weather-dependent power plant unit, it is necessary to install equipment (aFRR equipment) capable of providing the so-called aFRR compensating regulation service and offering capacity with a performance equivalent to 30 percent of its nominal capacity. This new requirement, which does not apply to small household-sized power plants, means that, citing the ability to ensure the balance of the domestic electricity system, all solar power plant investments that submit their request for connection after May 2 are now required to install some kind of suitable flexibility capacity.
