In seven years 750 billion forints will go to food industry development
On 22 April Norbert Erdős, state secretary for food chain supervision at the Ministry of Agriculture, visited the CBA Logistics Centre in Alsónémedi. At the event he told that the government is going to invest HUF 4,500 billion in rural, agricultural and food industry development in 7 years. Food companies will have the opportunity to apply for funding from a HUF 750-billion budget. CBA president Vilmos Lázár talked about how important it is for Hungarian farmers and food companies to have Hungarian retail chains, who are leaders in taking Hungarian-made groceries to consumers.
