In 2021, the average purchasing power per capita in Europe is EUR 15,055. However, there are significant differences in net disposable income between the 42 countries examined: Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Luxembourg are by far the frontrunners, while Kosovo, Moldova and Ukraine have the lowest purchasing power. Liechtenstein residents, for example, have more than 34 times as much money at their disposal to spend and save as Ukrainians.
