Sixty-five million HUF worth cigarettes were seized in Nyíregyháza
Sixty-five million HUF worth smuggled cigarettes were seized by the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) in Nyíregyháza – Jánvári Regina, NAV press officer told MTI on Wednesday.
Jánvári Regina said that the investigators found Russian cigarettes in a van of a British man in a value of 4.5 million HUF, when he drove out from a company’s site, where an additional 60.5 million HUF worth tobacco was produced. The van and the 78 thousand boxes of cigarettes were seized the English driver and his passenger are suspicted of receiving stolen goods. (MTI)
