Television advertising revenues are over sixty billion forints
The amount of domestic television advertising revenues exceeded 60 billion HUF last year – according to the analysis of the Association of Hungarian Electronic Broadcasters (MEME) and EY. The advertising spots still determine the sector, where competitive market players represent an increasing proportion of public advertisements.
Advertising revenue increased in 2018 compared to the previous year, says MEME and EY in their 14th report. The expansion rate reached 510 million forints, representing a 1 percent increase. The size of the advertising cake was 60.7 billion forints, which includes classic television ads (spot) and all other ad value, such as product placement or broadcasting (non-spot).
