The Perwoll sustainable fashion day ended with a huge success
From vintage treasures to the wildest ensembles, on the Day of Sustainable Fashion, participants could admire many fantastic collections on models marching in snaking lines. This time, however, the designers also got out of the limelight.
On the Day of Sustainable Fashion, there was no shortage of colorful outfits, not only on the catwalk, but also in the rows of the auditorium. Thanks to the theme of the event, most of the visitors appeared on the spot in vintage, second-hand or individually designed clothes, thus supporting sustainable fashion. The best-known Budapest vintage clothing stores – Szputnyik, Lovechild, TypoVintage and ReClaim – opened the event first on the catwalk with a colorful fashion show inspired by Perwoll, which also featured several influencers, including Cynthia Dictator, Bolla Viki and B. Réka Nagy also appeared among the models. Then the works of Kinga Cakó (CAKO), Boglárka Bódis (Elysian), Virág Kerényi, Zita Majoros (PRINTA) proved that sustainability can also be trendy. Last but not least, the first collection of the Kiss Tibi Amore brand debuted at the event, which was characterized by naturalness not only in its production, but also in its appearance.
The exceptional fashion shows were connected by round table discussions, in which, led by Bence Csalár, several professionals, including the designers of the paraded collections, talked about how the fashion industry can be sustainable, and what they, as producers, and we, as consumers, can do to reduce the ecological footprint of the fashion industry.
