The retail sales of household chemical goods and cosmetics increased by six percent
The revenues of the stores from household chemicals and cosmetics grew by 6 percent this year to about 230 billion HUF from January to August. In volume, a 1 percent increase occured during the first eight months of last year, compared to the same period of 2014 – the Retail Index of the Nielsen retail measurement information and knowledge services company reveals.
The more than double-digit well above the average growth in value was especially measured in case of lotions and cosmetics: for example in case of shower gels, decor cosmetics, body cream, face and eye cream and in case of perfumes as well. The revenues of the stores also increased by more than 10 percent from fabric softener, paper handkerchief and toilet cleaner – Barta Mónika, Senior Account Manager of Nielsen informs. (Nielsen)
