The retail sales of private label products increased by six percent, to 492 billion HUF
Customers spent about 492 billion HUF on the private label products of the chain of stores last year, six percent more than in the year before.
The expansion of private labeled products is slowing. The turnover of private label products in the ninety-food categories mesured by Nielsen was 1539 billion HUF last year. The share of the chains in the turnover was 27.7 percent. This is only a 0.3 percent increase, compared with the year before – the Nielsen consumer information and knowledge services company reveals.
