Disaster protection campaigns to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning on three million milk cartons
Material resulting from imperfect combustion is extremely toxic and can cause death within three minutes. Carbon monoxide poisoning is difficult to notice, as its symptoms – malaise, dizziness, headache, nausea, fatigue – can be easily confused with other effects and symptoms of other diseases.
The attention-grabbing graphics aimed at preventing carbon monoxide poisoning can be seen on the 2.8% fat, 1-liter cans of Magyar tej (Hungarian milk) sold by Alföldi Tej Kft. in January, February and December2021. This means 35,000 to 40,000 milk cartons a day for the duration of the campaign, and almost 3,000,000 cans for the entire campaign period.
