The Naturaqua factory in Zalaszentgrót has supplied domestic consumers with three billion liters of mineral water over the past 20 years
Nowadays, it is increasingly clear that water is one of our number one natural treasures, and drinking water is much more than a primary thirst quencher: it refreshes, fills you with energy, supplies vitamins and useful trace elements to the body, contributes to maintaining a balanced lifestyle, helps you stay on your feet during sports, or during a hard day’s work.
Naturaqua is one of Hungary’s favorite waters. The Zala water, which has been filtered for 14,000 years, will be bottled in September at the 20-year-old Zalaszentgrót plant of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary.
Coca-Cola HBC Hungary, as the country’s largest soft drink producer, has set itself the goal of establishing a Central European production base in Hungary. It is part of the company’s 24/7 strategy to be able to offer answers for every consumption occasion with its wide product portfolio. 20 years ago, natural mineral water was not part of the expanding supply, but at the same time, with the continuous growth of mineral water consumption, there was an increasing market demand for it. Therefore, two decades ago, following a comparison of the water quality and composition of 25 springs in Hungary, the decision was made to build the bottling plant of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary in Zalaszentgrót. Zalaszentgrót has great features, there is high-quality thermal water that has been filtered for 14 thousand years at a depth of more than 600 meters below the city.
The mineral composition of Zalaszentgrót water obtained from a depth of 680 meters is physiologically optimal and balanced, which is why it has a pleasant taste.
