SPAR Albania grows with three new store openings
The SPAR brand presence in Albania continues to grow with the opening of three new stores located in Fier and Tirana.
The city of Fier welcomed its first INTERSPAR Hypermarket, growing the SPAR brand presence in the area. With over 2,900m2 of retail sales space, this store provides a wide range of over 10,000 high-quality products at competitive prices. Customers were welcomed into the new INTERSPAR Hypermarket who benefitted from a series of offers and festive activities.
Redona Kalaja, Head of the Marketing Department at SPAR Albania, stated: “Through this significant investment, we are committed to providing a shopping experience like never before and contributing to the economic development of this region.”
Growth in Tirana
In addition to the new opening in Fier, SPAR Albania’s expansion has been further extended through opening of two stores in Tirana. A 400m2 SPAR Supermarket in Babrru, which offers over 7,000 products, has been complemented by the opening of a 2,500m2 INTERSPAR Hypermarket in the Emerald Centre, where 15,000+ products are available.
Future expansion
The SPAR Albania network encompasses 90 SPAR Supermarkets alongside 4 INTERSPAR Hypermarkets nationwide, serving over 50,000 customers daily. SPAR Albania plans to expand the brand’s presence in the market further, continuing to roll out stores across the country.
