Work started in the Food Avalanche program in thirty-seven settlements
The Food Avalanche program of the Hungarian Food Bank Association and Syngenta was launched for the fifth time.
Thanks to the charity initiative, this year 37 governmental and non-governmental organizations have received millions of HUF worth of seeds. The seeds are sown on a total of 67 hectares of cultivated land in these days.
Cseh Balázs, the president of the Hungarian Food Bank Association told that last year 27 applicants received aid, and due to the community production on the fields, tens of thousands of people were given nearly one hundred tons of grain.
