Fish Farmers: carps are the most popular
Before Christmas the most sought fish is still the carp, however the consumers are increasingly looking for ready to cook fish fillets – the president of Mahal told MTI.
Németh István, who is also the president and CEO of the Tógazda Halászati Zrt. told that there is a great demand for catfish, zander and pikes in smaller quantities.
Customers are increasingly looking for processed, ready to cook products, so those fish shops are becoming more popular where they can find fresh fish products without freezing. (MTI)
