Red means CBA!
When we hear the word ‘red’ in Hungarian retail trade, we instantly think of the private label products of CBA and Príma: these are called Piros (meaning ‘red’ in Hungarian). Piros products are very popular among consumers, thanks to their low price and good quality – which characteristics were promoted with many campaigns by the Hungarian grocery retailer.
Zoltán Noszlopy, purchasing director of CBA told: consumers know that they get the same quality that branded products offer if they purchase private label groceries. There are nearly 500 Piros products available at the moment. Mr Noszlopy believes that the colour red suits CBA and the uniform red packaging makes these products stand out from the crowd. CBA’s Piros products are available in 7 different categories. In line with the sustainability trend, the packaging of these products is made of recycled materials. (x)
