GfK: the market of technical products grew by 11.1 percent in the first quarter
The Durable & Electronics sales increased by 11.1 percent in the first quarter of 2015, compared to the same period of the previous year. The growth was mainly driven by the sales of the telecommunications sector and large household appliances – the GfK Hungária Market Research Company told MTI on Tuesday.
According to the information, the supported refrigerator replacement program highly contributed to the 23.1 percent sales expansion of the large household appliances. In the first quarter, the sales of refrigerators and freezers significantly exceeded the sales of the previous year. The total value of the large household appliances market was 18.6 billion HUF in the first quarter. (MTI)
