Future Store – This year between 4 and 6 February! Visit us and participate in the guided tour!
In the store of the future many companies focus on sustainability trends too. Today’s newsletter introduces the in-store presence of four of them: Henkel, Nestlé, Essity and Coca-Cola.
At the Pavilion A K1 Future Store stand of the Sirha Budapest 2020 trade show approximately 25 companies will showcase their innovative products, successful devices and latest solutions in a very special way, which visitors can see in the form of a guided tour. Every day we are putting different companies in the limelight in our newsletter, sending their invitation to you here and now.
Henkel is one of those large corporations which have realised their own responsibility as regards product packaging, therefore the company is launching its new products in the spirit of sustainability. Last year brought the debut of products marketed in 100% recycled packaging, and more of these will follow this year. To this end Henkel teamed up with Plastic Bank, thanks to which the company has already collected and sorted 63 tons of plastic, which has entered the value chain as Social Plastic. Part of the packaging of the latest Fa Ocean Passion shower gel is this recycled plastic. Silicone- and artificial colour free Schauma Love the Planet shampoos have the similar 100% recycled packaging as Fa products – they call attention to the severe problem of generating too much plastic waste. Nature Box solid shampoo and solid shower gel have also been created with sustainability in mind, and they are first introduced to Hungarian consumers in the Future Store. The new products offer the level of care to the hair and the skin that consumers expect from the brand. Their vegan formula is free from artificial colours, and the packaging is 100% recycled and plastic-free. Following in the footsteps of Fa and Schauma, by the end of 2020 the Gliss Kur, Syoss and Nature Box brands will also get sustainable packaging designs. Henkel’s objective is to make 100% of product packaging recyclable, reusable or compostable by 2025, and to manufacture 35% of Henkel consumer goods packaging from recycled plastic in Europe.
One of the Nestlé Nesquik brand’s latest variants is All Natural. This is the first chocolate drink mix from the company that contains 100% natural ingredients and has no added sugar; consumers can drink it as sweet as they like it. The product is marketed in 100% recyclable paper packaging. It helps to protect the environment and due to the usage of selective waste containers it contributes to sustainable development. Nestlé is fighting the production of plastic waste with this step. Nesquik All Natural Porridge is made especially for children, in the good old chocolate flavour. It is a nourishing and tasty breakfast made of 100% natural ingredients, which has wholemeal cereals and low sugar content.
Nestlé’s other major brand, Purina also presents its new innovations in the Future Store. The Purina ONE® range consists of tasty products made of the best ingredients – they can contribute to cats’ health in the long run. New DualNature™ products are made with Spirulina, they are nourishing and thanks to the special texture they are characterised by high enjoyment value too. Purina DentaLife® dental treats need to be used daily to clean even back teeth, and the product has been scientifically proven to reduce tartar build-up. What is more, these treats also make the teeth and gums of pets healthier. In line with the natural trend, new AdVENTuROS™ Paleo dog treats have high protein content and contain high-quality ingredients, plus they are free from artificial colours, flavour enhancers and preservatives.
All Essity brands can be seen on the shelves of the Future Store this year as well. The company brings its POS communication tools. One of the innovations is that Libresse products have new packaging. These are 100% percent recyclable and minimum 50% of the packaging of Libresse sanitary pads come from renewable sources, and the same is true for 100% of the packaging of pantyliners. Zewa and Libero are also busy innovating – they are presenting their new products in the Future Store, too. In 2020 Zewa updates its full kitchen roll range; as a result of the new Power-X structure, the new variants can absorb 50% more liquid. Zewa Quick Pack is the most innovative product in the new selection – it belongs to the very high absorption capacity Wisch und Weg product line – and its compact and hygienic packaging makes the lives of consumers easier with comfortable use: you don’t need both hands to take one. Zewa Quick Pack is available with different designs, so it fits into the environment of any room. All of the new Zewa kitchen rolls are FSC-certified.
Coca-Cola’s renewed portfolio and innovative solutions have a constant presence in the Future Store. The portfolio is available to consumers following the 7/24 concept – this means the beverage company offers the perfect product for every meal and consumption occasion 24 hours a day, every day of the week. This time the emphasis is on family-size, 1.75-litre products. Coca-Cola would like to inspire the world with Cappy products: they want the planet to be just as good a place as these high-nutritional-value, exceptional quality fruit juices, nectars and fruit drinks are. Low-calorie Fuzetea is a one of a kind, perfect fusion of fruit juice and medicinal herbs; the tea leaves come from sustainable farming in Kenya and Asian countries. Besides the different flavour combinations, Zero (sugar-free) products can also be found in the portfolio. Coca-Cola strengthens in-store communication with its own, remotely controlled LCD-crown metal displays that back the Coke&Meal strategy.
