FruitVeB: Producers can harvest more tomatoes and cucumbers this year
From a smaller production area this year, the producers can harvest 5-10 percent more tomatoes and 5 percent more cucumbers from heated glass and foil houses – FruitVeB predicts.
Ledó Ferenc, president of the Hungarian Vegetable and Fruit Interprofessional Organization and Product Council (FruitVeB) told MTI that sunshine favored cultures this year, it was not extremely cold, and the quality of crops could be better than last year. (MTI)
