Ledó Ferenc, the president of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organisation (FruitVeB) told MTI that the effect of extreme heat affected all plant species and varieties.
Ledó Ferenc reminded that despite the rain of the recent days that occured only in some places, other areas still suffer from drought. The current projections do not show a significant change in the weather until August 20. The 35 to 36 degree Celsius heat will remain until then. (MTI)
