Focus on the sport economy and exportable Hungarian sports innovations
Sports is globally one of the most dynamically developing industries and its innovations in the segment is an international jumping opportunity for Hungarian companies as well. Recognizing this, the Hungarian National Chamber of Commerce and the University of Physical Education organize the International Conference on Sports and Innovation for the first time on 18-19 May in Budapest. The conference is aimed primarily at enhancing industry dialogue and mapping export opportunities.
Hungary is a sports nation, which is not only manifested in the field of competitive sports, but also in the field of sport economy, training and innovation. The global weight of the industry is indicated by the fact that the European Union contributes to the growth of the sports industry with an annual around 300 billion euros. The sports industry employs about 60 million people as well.
