FM: Russia is a major agricultural partner for Hungary
Russia is a key partner of Hungary in the field of agriculture and the food industry, despite the fact that the trade embargo makes the relationship between the two country difficult – the Minister of Agriculture said on Thursday at a joint professional meeting in Budapest.
Fazekas Sándor at the Hungarian-Russian regional agricultural forum said that the cooperation is already intensive between the two countries in the field of animal and plant health and food safety. It is also encouraging that Russia still remembers the Hungarian salami, the Törley champagne and the Tokaji wine – he said and stressed that the reputation of the Hungarian food products remains undiminished in the Russian market.
