FM: Saudi Arabia would buy Hungarian cattle and sheep
Hungary can be an important partner of Saudi Arabia with its long breed traditions, high quality dairy and beef cattle and feed production – the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) announced on Monday.
The Ministry informs that Parliamentary Minister of State Nagy István suggested this idea to Hamad Bin Abdul Azíz al-Batsán Saudi Minister of State in charge of animal husbandry.
The FM said: The head of the Saudi delegation briefly described the current situation of agriculture in Saudi Arabia and near future and plans. He said that although they have about 25 million livestock, Saudi Arabia imports 10 million animals a year. (MTI)
