According to Monday's data one and a half million hectares of ragweed infected area was detected so far, and the authority had to take action on 1,500 hectares.
The amount of fine reached 4 million HUF – Szalkai Gábor, deputy head of department of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) said on Wednesday in Dunakeszi at a press conference held together with the Pest County Government Office and the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH). (MTI)
