Finnish and Hungarian women in the labor market – What is the key to success?
On April 4, 2023, FinnAgora will organize the Finnovation event for the fourth time, this time focusing on women, namely on the topic of labor market equality.
The purpose of the conference organized at CEU is to find the drivers of women’s professional identity, to provide inspiration to current and future female leaders and to define the main building blocks of professional self-confidence. At the event, participants can meet several international speakers, including Anni Marttinen, the chief economist of the Finnish Social and Health Association (Soste), Zsófia Borsi, the founder of Lazy Women, and Csernus Fanni, the coordinator of Amnesty International’s Gender Equality Program. The lectures in English are followed by joint workshops. The entire day can be visited for free, but registration is required.
“We see many excellent women working ambitiously every day and constantly improving in their profession. Innovators changing the world, young professionals climbing the corporate ladder, activists and successful businesswomen. Yet we find that women often have to work much harder to succeed than their male counterparts, even if they have the same level of skills and education. At Finnovation, we provide you with tools that can take you one step closer to your authentic professional identity, provide a safe place to discuss personal challenges, a platform to share your thoughts and new ideas, and provide inspiration for the future. “
– Anna Tilly, cultural manager of FinnAgora.
