Purchases in shops increased in July. At a slightly higher rate than in June, in July by 1-1.5 percent. In the larger grocery stores, we spent 10 percent more, but less on manufactured goods and fuel. Web stores were able to post more revenue than usual.

According to KSH’s weekly lightning data release (weekly monitor), we left 3.4 percent more money in store cash registers in July than a year before. This is definitely a favorable figure, as a month earlier, the weekly monitor showed a 1 percent decrease for June, based on online cash data, while with the final monthly indicator – true faint, but – already 0.8 percent volume (quantitative, excluding price changes) growth could be recorded. Webshops grew by 37 percent in June.
