After an intensive upward trend, demand and supply balanced out at Poly-Pack Kiskunhalas Kft. by the end of Quarter 2. In an effort to ward off the virus, demand for contact-less shopping, i.e. packaged food and single-use foil gloves increased, Ferenc Rózsa managing director said. In response to the growing demand for environmental-friendly packaging, the company purchased supplementary equipment used for the production of PLA products.
Sixty per cent of STI Petőfi Nyomda Kft’s sales come from export and the company concentrates on the Western-European region, which is why it was not hit hard by the pandemic, but saw excess demand, instead. Since the company was enhancing its production capacity in the past few years, it could timely perform also in these turbulent times, as well as at seasonal peaks.
