Lidl wins For a Sustainable Future Award: recognition for business transformation
Lidl Magyarország has won the For Sustainable Future Award in the Business Transformation category, presented by the Business Council for Sustainable Development in Hungary (BCSDH). This award recognises Lidl’s commitment to sustainability and the steps the retailer has taken to promote sustainable development.

The prize was given to Lidl Magyarország based on the decision of a 6-member jury of experts, and the award ceremony took place at the organisation’s business lunch on 7 October. Lidl’s commitment to sustainability is evident at all levels of the organisation and permeates its operations. “This award confirms that we are on the right track in achieving our goals, that as an ethical company our actions are bringing about real change not only in our own lives, but also in the lives of our partners, customers and society as a whole”, commented head of corporate affairs Dr Tamás Kaibinger.
