The European Football Championship boosts the food and beverage industry
The Hungarian beer consumption is expected to grow, while the shrinkage of the beer market is likely to temporarily stop in Austria – according to the sectoral analysis of Atradius credit insurer.
The market-leading credit insurer compared the credit risk positions and business performance outlooks of the two countries in the sector before the Hungarian-Austrian Championship group match. According to the analysis of the Hungarian beverage industry surpassed the Austrian beverage industry in the past three years, but the European Football Championship boosts up the food industry including the beverage industry as well. In Hungary about a 2.5 percent beer market growth is expected, while in Austria the shrinkage of the beer market is likely to temporarily stop.
